Sale of Retail Strip Center--$1M+
AXIS 360 Facilitates Sale of 1006 JC Parkway, Bloomington, Illinois
Bloomington, IL —October 28, 2025— AXIS 360 Commercial Real Estate Specialists is pleased to announce the sale of the retail strip center located at 1006 JC Parkway in Bloomington, Illinois, a Walmart outparcel property anchored by Cookies, a national cannabis dispensary brand. Meghan O’Neal-Rogozinski of AXIS 360 represented the seller who purchased the property for $1,050,000.
The seller, MM Acquisition, purchased the property in 2022 to establish the Cookies dispensary at the site. Since then, the center’s tenant mix has included Cookies and a vape shop, but several suites have remained vacant.
The new owner, Steven Carrico, plans to invest in exterior upgrades and improvements to modernize the property and attract complementary retail tenants. Carrico will be handling leasing directly, with 51% vacancy, there was tremendous upside to this investment purchase.
Located near Walmart and other national retailers on the west side of Bloomington, the strip center offers easy access from the Interstate and serves the growing workforce from Rivian and their suppliers.
